Besides the obvious "Why not?", there are a number of great reasons to join ALLIANCE:

• Our growth rate is unprecedented - at least 10% or more per season since 2005.  We grew 26% in 2009 alone!!!
  
  
• Our successes.  Since our first season of competition in 2005, we have been UNDEFEATED in DCA South, having won four consecutive Class-A titles and two Open Class titles in 2009 and 2010.  We are the 2008 DCA Class-A World Champions and have been Open Class Finalists every year since.  For the record, DCA classifies divisions of corps based on size, with Class-A corps being 65 members or less and Open Class being anything larger up to 128 members.
  
  
• Our average age is twenty, which is younger than ANY other drum corps competing in DCA Open Class.  This makes a difference in the development of programs, as a member base with younger and stronger members can perform more physically and mentally-challenging programs.  ALLIANCE is more like a DCI corps than the typical DCA organization, although we also compete in DCI shows as well (as a competitive corps - not exhibition!).
  
  
• Participation in ALLIANCE is less-expensive than junior corps.  Membership in any World or Open-Class DCI corps would cost about three times as much.  Yes, you would definitely perform in more shows with a World-Class DCI corps, but not everyone can afford almost $3000 for corps, especially in today's difficult economy.
  
  
• You can have a summer of drum corps, but still have a life outside of the activity too!  Our rehearsal schedule is quite light during the winter months - every other Sunday from 9am to 6pm, adding Saturdays at the end of April, then Friday nights once school is out for the summer.  July and August can get hectic if you are a student because of band camps and other school activities.

The single BEST reason to join ALLIANCE is the incredible quality of the program we have to offer.  Our instructional staff are highly-experienced and have been instructing for many years, several of them being band directors at both the middle and high school level.
